| HOW TO USE HITCH HIKERS WITH SOFT PLASTICS |
The "Reverse Pitching" Rig Very
efficient when Bass are in heavy cover. Rig similar to the "Texas" style.
Twist the Gambler ® Florida Rig™ weight right into
the back plastic.
Now rig "Texas" style with a Daiichi Offset. Wide Gap hook.
The weight is now in the BACK of the bait. It will go where you want it when
pitching and flipping. |

The "Stoopid" Rig Goofy
looking rig that really catches fish. Combine a HitchHiker® with
a 2/0 Bleeding Bait Circle Wide™ hook. Now twist the
HitchHiker® into your favourite fish
shaped plastic. Fish on light spinning tackle with braided
line. Cast and use quick twitch/retrieve motion. Reminder:
Don't set the hook. Just keep retrieving. Best in early spring
when grass is thin.

The "Jerk-Bait" can
be rigged many ways. It's the most versatile bait in your
tackle-box. Names vary but often called "Flukes".
Often "Texas" rigged and used as a top-water bait.
Remember when you SEE the strike don't set the hook. Wait
for the
fish to turn before setting the hook. The CopperHead Hook
is without question the best hook for Jerk-Baits. (Bait will
last longer too.)

| The "ButtDragger" Rig
Same hook as the CopperHead but in a back weighted design.
Rig "Texas" style
and watch it swim as it falls. Re-insert the hook into the
side of the bait and it will swim in a circular pattern as
it sinks. |
